Flashback to the Unipower GT Club social meetings back in the 1970's

Came across a few photographs from the Club's summer monthly gatherings at the Royal Oak pub on the green at Brockham in Surrey (England) way back in the 1970's and this clipping from a national motoring magazine, such was the interest in the cars back then. Just four of the five cars are shown in the picture, that would turn up regularly and we even had owners from as far away as Switzerland come along. The cars could park on the road around the village green right outside the pub, which was and still is a proper English country pub. And yes, the sun did shine every time !.
