Progress is steady towards an anticipated September completion of this extensive rebuild. The Oil Cooler has been installed and the Inlet Manifold modified to enable the Weber carb to sit horizontal when installed on the engine tilted forwards by 5 degrees as required.
More will be revealed as the final stages are completed.
Watch those engine mounts for cracks! We noticed cracks developing during a track day in 2019. During replacement, we found it was worse than we thought - one was actually in 3 pieces! We replaced them with a reinforced version & found similar cracks developing in those, 2 years later. We're now back to using the rubber type.
